Scottish Country Dance Club

Kirkliston Parish Church

13th Century Parish Church, Kirkliston

The Country Dance Club’s aim is to promote country dancing to all ages with a friendly and social atmosphere.  Our club has been running since October 1988 and we meet every Tuesday evening between September and April in the Thomas Chalmers Centre of Kirkliston Parish Church from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
We are affiliated to RSCDS West Lothian Branch

We currently have a rota system of various teachers

We hold two dances each year, which are held in the Thomas Chalmers Centre in Kirkliston. Sadly, it was decided to discontinue our annual Hogmanay Ceilidh due to lack of support.

Club nights this year will run from Tuesday 10th September until 3rd December 2024

The Autumn Dance will be held on Saturday, 19th October 2024 at 7,30pm. Details on the Events page

Kirkliston Scottish Country Dance Club celebrated our 30th Anniversary on 20th October 2018 with an Anniversary Dance in the Thomas Chalmers Centre. It was a super evening with great music and a lovely meal. Our former teacher, Mrs Margaret Masterton, who inaugurated the club, was invited to cut the cake and was presented with a beautiful bouquet.
