Kirkliston Parish Church
Scottish Country Dance Club
The Country Dance Club’s aim is to promote country dancing to all ages with a friendly and social atmosphere. Our club has been running since October 1988 and we meet every Tuesday evening between September and April in the Thomas Chalmers Centre of Kirkliston Parish Church from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
We are affiliated to RSCDS West Lothian Branch
We currently have a rota system of various teachers
We hold two dances each year, which are held in the Thomas Chalmers Centre in Kirkliston. Sadly, it was decided to discontinue our annual Hogmanay Ceilidh due to lack of support.
Classes will run from Tuesday, 13th September until Tuesday, 6th December 2022, 7.30-9.30pm. Then from Tuesday 10th January until 11th April 2023 (AGM) (closed 4th April -Easter)

Kirkliston Scottish Country Dance Club celebrated our 30th Anniversary on 20th October 2018 with an Anniversary Dance in the Thomas Chalmers Centre. It was a super evening with great music and a lovely meal. Our former teacher, Mrs Margaret Masterton, who inaugurated the club, was invited to cut the cake and was presented with a beautiful bouquet.
We welcome new members who have a knowledge of Scottish country dancing and all enquiries can be made to Suzanne Kidd on 01506 854325
